Desert

The desert’s catastrophe of thirst caused the earth to drink life out of the plants; all natural green shattered into grains of sand. The once-lush paradise shifted into a barren habitat of heat and sorrow; the limbs that walked into the emptiness lost sight to what they desired: whether fake or real, they’d search until their death.

    I so enjoyed this poem and especially: The desert’s catastrophe of thirst caused the earth to drink life out of the plants;

    You have such a wonderfully unique perception. Wonderful.
