Money

The roof caved in on the corner store when the corporate businesses decided to maximize profits by lowering prices and pay. Quality shifted into negative territories, but customers cared more about their wallet than their health. Money softens the hardened hearts; no love can buy happiness. Then, prices rose, pay was cut yet again, and wallets became nonexistent.
