One hell of a party

After the storm hits, the room piles beer cans with CDs as coasters, vases as shattered footballs, lamps as dance partners, and surgically modified magazines. Earth’s hair pulled away like cleats on baseball fields in the front lawn. Pants wrap around heads like glasses, while bodies have nothing but underwear. The tornado tore through the plants and home.

Hello Noah~ The use of earth’s hair was perfect in this flash fiction. When I read this story I am taken down two paths- wild college party and an actual storm. Well done. Have a nice day.

This description shows off the metaphor perfectly and grimly, and the “flash fiction” gives a tight focus.
