Falling

The fountain spouts from nowhere, pouring rainbows into waveless waters. A carved plaque marks the center with a saying that would not fit on a medal: “The Two Prince Brothers.” My brother’s sculpture cracked with the rip of his wings. His faded image depresses the fact that he fell some thousand years ago. And, now I follow him.
