Meteor

A satellite’s core flashes sparks like popping corn, in sound and sight, or a partner to thunder. Its expansion consumes an inner breath of earth. This touch sends metal tumbling down through the atmosphere, almost completely obliterated but not quite. What’s left leaves a hole from a thousand mile an hour crash. And, I need a new house.
